The past week has been full of sunshine and it feels like spring is just around the corner. Just don't get too restless and forget to save the date for the Spring Sustainability Fair! The bi-annual UMD Sustainability Fair highlights progress of sustainability efforts at UMD and in our community. This spring's fair will focus on Sustainability in Art and Design. Sustainability is a balance achieved when society can provide for its own needs without compromising needs of future generations: Enough, for all, forever. It encompasses multiple, overlapping issues including education, energy, natural resources, economy and health. Public and private groups representing these facets will be present to showcase their progress.
